We recently renovated our home with Eastpoint constructions and Brad Tarbit from Build Strong Constructions was the supervising foreman on the project. We first met Brad during the job scoping and sizing phase and immediately enjoyed his friendly yet professional approach and depth of industry and trade knowledge. This served to build and maintain confidence and trust throughout the building works, which were completed on time (we had a baby coming!), within estimated budget and to a high quality standard.
Brad ran the whole project from beginning to end and kept us informed every step of the way. He proved himself to be a trusted adviser, highly competent team leader and was never afraid to use his building and carpentry skills and get his hands dirty on the job. He led a high caliber team on-site daily and ensured the right mix of skill and cooperation to achieve exceptional outcomes in a very compressed time-frame, despite the unpredictable winter months.
He earned our trust by being reliable, approachable, technically skilled, and had excellent communication skills which enabled us to work as a team and achieve the best outcomes with minimal fuss and impact to our neighbourhood. Brad went above and beyond on many occasions. Even on rainy non-work days, Brad would turn up on-site to ensure everything was secure and in order. We appreciated his honest and courteous approach and his depth of knowledge that helped us make informed decisions along the way.
We also appreciated the prompt responses to the questions we raised and that any variations to plan, whether cost overruns or schedule changes, were clearly and quickly discussed and resolved. During the project it also became clear from our dealings with suppliers and contractors that Brad and his team were held in the highest esteem in the building industry, with a reputation for reliability and excellence. We trusted Brad implicitly and are so happy with our new home. We highly recommend Brad and his team without hesitation and would happily work with him again.

We employed Brad and Scott Tarbit from Build Strong constructions Pty Ltd to carry out our home extension which included adding an open plan living and dining area, new kitchen and laundry, new timber deck and renovating our existing rooms including new bathroom and total replacement of the existing roof, wiring and plumbing.
This was a big project for us and we got as many quotes as we could. There were a few things that were very important to us, including the cost, time to complete, but probably the most important thing was whether we got a good gut feel about the builder.
We'd heard about the horror stories from other people who had gone through the process before. We'd heard about the builders who had tried to manage various jobs at once and ended up delaying the build, about builders who had under quoted and hit owners with extra costs further in the process, about poor quality work etc. We wanted to make sure the builder we went with was someone we could trust, and out of the 6 quotes we got, with the quotes coming in at a similar $ level, we decided Scott was the right builder for our project.
He was open and honest about his quote and the way in which he could take on the job, and didn't try to over sell and create unrealistic expectations in terms of cost and time to complete. Scott took on our job and focused on it 100% with out trying to juggle it with other jobs. One of the things that ultimately helped us make our decision was the fact that of all our builders, Scott was the only one that gave us some good tips on ways we could improve our plan to reduce costs.
Our house has now been completed, and we are incredibly happy with the finished product. It has been finished to a high standard, and it is even better than we could have imagined! The build process has been incredibly smooth, and has had minimal impact to our family. Any changes we wanted to make were never a problem for Scott, and given he was 100% focused on our job for its duration, he was also very responsive whenever we had any questions or issues to resolve. We never once had an issue trying to chase him up to answer our calls which meant everything was resolved quickly and our project was completed on time.
We would thoroughly recommend BuildStrong Constructions for anyone thinking about engaging them for their building project.

Our build took about 8 months to complete. Scott from Buildstrong has done a sensational job transforming our original two bedroom single level semi into a two story three bedroom semi with a basement garage.
Throughout the project, Scott remained focussed, dedicated and so easy to deal with. His work ethic is second to none. We were constantly liaising with Scott throughout the project and were always amazed at how amenable he was to our ideas and equally amazed with his forethought to deal with the many competing interests that present themselves in a major renovation / re-build. We engaged BuildStrong Constructions to perform major renovation work on our Californian Bungalow in Maroubra. This involved the demolition of part of the existing structure and garage, refurbishment of existing bathroom, construction of ground floor bedroom, kitchen, dining room and living area, outdoor entertaining area as well as an upstairs attic bedroom, walk-in-robe and en-suite.
We have been extremely satisfied with the work carried out by Scott, Brad and the team at BuildStrong. They came in on budget and ahead of schedule which represented a saving on rental accommodation.
At all times Scott and Brad were available to discuss the progress of the project and all questions and matters were addressed in a very timely manner. We felt they had our interests at heart and there was a real sense of partnership and trust between ourselves and BuildStrong.
Another plus for us was that they were fully on board with our desire to incorporate the look and feel of the Californian Bungalow into the new additions. The result has been a very successful merging of the old and the new. Buildstrong Constructions Pty Ltd was chosen to renovate our 1960s brick home in mid 2012, after a competitive tender process. Brad and Scott impressed us from the start with their genuine interest in our project, consummate professionalism, constructive ideas and advice.

Buildstrong Constructions provide the total package. An honest estimate on price and build time, good planning with the ability to adapt to change, combined with excellent communications skills and team effort. Our renovation was in the planning process for a few years before embarking with the drawing up of plans and application through council for planning approval before finding a builder.
Buildstrong Constructions were recommended through a friend, as we found for good reason. Brad headed up a very competent team of tradesmen. The build started on time beginning with a smooth dismantling of the house and the delivery and fitting of the steel work. Frequent meetings on site at every stage built a good client/builder relationship. This was crucial to the build and lead to a very trusting relationship in a process that was very unfamiliar and at times quite daunting.
Buildstrong Constructions dealt with all the day-to-day issues and any sub contractors used for the build, keeping them honest in price and ensuring a high quality with their finish. Sub contractors used had a very good working relationship with the Buildstrong team providing an excellent quality of work. They were able to assist with introducing us to quality and trustworthy kitchen manufacturers, painters and landscapers resulting with the timely delivery of the end product. We finished 5 days outside our very tight five-month rebuild contract and most of that delay was caused by our changes to the build. They have been back since the build providing great follow up solving any minor issues.
Building is about professional builders and a good working relationship; we were extremely fortunate to have both, a great journey enjoyed by either side of the relationship. I have no hesitation in personally highly recommending Buildstrong Constructions and would happily use them for any future work I undertake.

Scott and Brad did a complete rebuild on my dilapidated terrace in Bronte. From the start we knew it was a difficult job with neighbours in close proximity and a very small site.
